Gryon - Fenalet - le ChĂŞne - Le Bouillet (Mines de Sel de Bex)

Description
A nice hike that links Gryon to the Salt Mines of Bex and its museum. You leave the mountain to reach the valley with its pretty hamlets with ancestral chalets and its vineyards. On arrival at Le Bouillet, the Bex Salt Mines tourist site is worth a visit. Return by train thanks to the railway line that links Bex to Villars.
From the "rue du village" in Gryon, you join the old road and pass by the temple. You then head towards Les Posses and follow the direction of Fenalet. The descent is pleasant, on a path near the vineyards. For the last few kilometres, the path continues through the forest to reach Le Bouillet and the Bex Salt Mines. Don't hesitate to visit the Salt Mines, a unique site in Switzerland to discover the white gold that has been extracted for several centuries. You can also extend your walk to Bex. The BVB train will take you effortlessly from Bex to Villars with various stops including BĂ©vieux, Gryon and Barboleuse.
