Les Chaux - Taveyanne - Coufin - Alpage du Col de la Croix - Tréchadèze - Les Diablerets

At the start of this hike, you take the cable car that links Barboleuse to Les Chaux. Then, you head towards the hamlet of Taveyanne and then descend towards Coufin. Then follow the path that goes up to the Alpage du Col de la Croix. At the Col de la Croix mountain pasture, cheese is still made during the summer season (mid-June to end of August). You can watch the cheese being made, have breakfast, buy some of the farm's products or just take a break at the refreshment bar. On the way down from the Col de la Croix mountain pasture, you take the direction of Les Diablerets via Tréchadèze. You can make a diversion to the Col de la Croix (20 minutes) to admire the gypsum pyramids, a geological feature of the region. The view from this point is panoramic!
