Description

With the battery of your E-Bike fully charged, set off on the climb to the top of La Braye before enjoying a descent through pastures and forests!

This route starts in front of the tourist office in the centre of the village of Château-d'Œx. Follow the direction of the Ramaclé where you will have to cross the famous Pont Turrian. The first part of the route will allow you to warm up before facing the ascent of the Braye. Follow the banks of the Sarine river calmly until you reach the Ramaclé waterfall. Once you have reached the top of the hamlet of Gérignoz, take a good sip of water and start the 650m climb to the top of the Braye. The ascent is mainly on a tarmac road. Before the finish line, a few spectators will encourage you with their bells while enjoying the fresh mountain grass! It is thanks to these cows that the precious Etivaz PDO cheese is made... The descent is well deserved! With an incredible view of the village and the mountains, take speed and go down the pastures. The last part of the itinerary will take you back to the Pont Turrian before heading back up to the centre of Château-d'Œx.
