Col du Pillon - Cabane des Diablerets - Scex-Rouge

This demanding mountain hike starts at the Col du Pillon near the bottom station of Glacier 3000 and takes over four hours. A winding mountain path leads to the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) "Cabane des Diablerets" hut at an altitude of 2'500 metres. The path then becomes steeper. After a passage through the eternal snow of the glacier, you reach the goal: the summit station of Scex Rouge. On the terrace of the Botta restaurant, enjoy the magnificent panorama and savour the culinary delights. The cable car ride down into the valley takes about 20 minutes. If you still have enough energy, you can walk back down to the Pillon Pass, which will take you about two and a half hours.

By the post bus from the station at Les Diablerets to the Col du Pillon. Free parking at the Col du Pillon.
