Description
Accessible from the centre of the village, this 5 km hike invites you to discover Rossinière and its heights. The route combines architectural heritage, nature and panoramic views!
Your starting point is the centre of the village of Rossinière. This small mountain village has numerous century-old chalets, as well as a number of temporary art exhibitions during the summer months. Follow the signs to Rossinière church. Built on a hill in the middle of the village, the church already offers a view of the chalets typical of the region, as well as the Vernex lake and Mountain "Dent de Corjon". From the last neighbourhood on the heights, your route takes you along a small path through the forest and alongside the River "Torrent de la Frasse". The climb ends at Le Clou des Mis. From here, take a seat on the cool grass to enjoy the view of the Vernex lake. Then head back down to your starting point along the asphalt road.
