Description

This 34km trail course with 2'360m of ascent crosses the landscapes of the Pays-d'Enhaut, the Diablerets and the Col des Mosses! Climb to the top of two mountains located at an altitude of over 2'300m: La Pare and Pic Chaussy.

Starting at the cheese cellars, head down the Torneresse valley to the Pâquier-Mottier mountain pasture. This is where the precious wheels of L'Etivaz AOP cheese are made! Then zig-zag up through the forest before arriving at a second alp called Grand Clé. Then prepare to arrive at a little corner of paradise. The Fenêtre d'Arnon, situated between heaven and earth, is home to two small lakes where the clouds are perfectly reflected! After crossing the Pas de Sazième, Serron and Toumalay, continue your journey to the highest peak in the Pays-d'Enhaut. At an altitude of 2,539m, La Pare dominates the other mountains in the region. From its summit, a 360°C view is offered to you! Before reaching your second summit, follow the route on the upper part of the village of Les Diablerets. A second zig-zag climb awaits you to reach the top of the peak. Can you see the lake at the foot of the mountain range where you are standing? It is Lake Lioson, a real oasis of coolness for hikers. This is also your next stop! The route then returns towards Etivaz via the Pra Cornet plateau and the L'Eau froide valley!
