Description

Accessible for families, this walk takes you along the banks of the Sarine. The magical atmosphere of the route will not leave you indifferent !

Your starting point is the playground and ski school: Le Jardin d'Œx Neiges in Château-d'Œx. Equipped with your snowshoes, set off in the direction of the Ramaclé forest. Between the snow-covered trees, you can see the suspension bridge that crosses the Sarine. It was built in 1883 and is considered the oldest in French-speaking Switzerland! Admire it in the distance without crossing it and take the path on your right. Then walk along the banks of the Sarine until you leave the forest and head back towards the village centre.

RECOMMENDATIONS - Suitable for families - Also accessible on foot. We advise you to take good shoes and poles for the icy areas. ACCESS - By car: a large car park is available free of charge at the edge of Jardin d'Œx Neiges. - By train: via the MOB line (stop "Gare de Château-d'Œx"). It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the starting point of the route. - By bus: via the CarPostal line from the Col des Mosses (stop "Le Petit Pré"). It takes 2 minutes to walk to the starting point. In case of lack of snow, the path is passable on foot
