Description
The itinerary takes you to unspoilt areas rich in natural beauty; mountain streams, plunging views and alpine flora.
From the Maison du Terroir, drive through the village of Gryon and admire the old chalets. Go up towards Rabou, then follow the road to Les Combes (towards Les Plans-sur-Bex). Take the path on the right, then the road to Les Plans-sur-Bex. Go up to Pont de Nant along the river (beautiful path). You arrive at Pont-de-Nant, overlooked by the impressive Grand Muveran.
Practical Information
TRANSPORT: - Possible access to Barboleuse with the Bex Villars Bretaye (BVB) train from Villars, Gryon or Bex. - Return possible by bus (pay attention to the timetable). A FEW TIPS: - Stay on the marked trails - Hike with knowledge of your route and the weather - Take care of the flora and fauna - Do not leave any rubbish behind - Respect private property - Close gates and fences behind you - Keep your dog on a lead
