Try out off-road scooter, a fun and sporty activity on this beginner's level route from Bretaye to Villars. Access to the start is via the Villars-Bretaye cogwheel train.

On an off-road scooter, you follow the route from Bretaye. You pass on tarmac roads, tracks and small bridges that lead you to the Roc d'Orsay cable car. How does it work? - I rent my scooter from the sports shop of my choice - I take the train from Villars (station) to Bretaye (train terminus). There are special carriages to put the scooter on the train. - If you have a Free Access Card, the rental of the scooter and the train ride are free.

You can rent the off-road scooter in one of the following sports shops (during the Free Access period only) - Sport's House in Villars www.sportshouse.ch - DĂ€twyler Sport in Villars www.daetwyler-sports-villars.ch - Paragon Sport in Gryon www.paragonsport.ch Half-day equipment hire available (morning or afternoon). - It’s highly recommended to book equipment directly with the sports shop of your choice. - Booking is required for groups. Useful information: - the practice of the off-road scooter is possible for the children, to inquire at the sports shops - helmets must be worn and are provided by sports shops - this is a mountain sport; please be respectful of other users (hikers, cyclists) and wildlife - after heavy rain, the trails might become impassable. The sports shops will advise you accordingly to ensure your safety
