The via ferrata is an activity halfway between hiking and climbing. By embarking on a via ferrata, you are guaranteed to spend a moment filled with challenges and discoveries set in the heart of Mother nature. In the heart of Western Switzerland, the via ferrata routes allow you to gain height, take you to the heights, offering aerial and sensational views throughout your adventure.
On a secure course, you progress on ladders fixed to a rock wall, pass over footbridges and sometimes take a zip line. However, this all-action activity requires you to overcome the void under your feet: an excellent way to get to know yourself better and control your emotions.
The Vaud Alps’ via ferrata routes exist in various levels of difficulty. You can go alone or accompanied by a guide. However, it is an outdoor sport for which it is strongly recommended to find out about the conditions of the route before starting (technical/difficulty level, weather conditions, suitable equipment).

Make sure you are well equipped before you set of on your adventure! Your via ferrata kit consists of a helmet, a harness and a lanyard and two carabiners. Not only can our stores equip you but they will also explain to you how to use the equipment in order to have a successful and safe adventure.
