Remarkable trees walk
Take a stroll through the town of Aigle and discover its remarkable trees.
Between deciduous and coniferous trees, the town of Aigle boasts many atypical trees from different regions of the world. This educational walk will take you on a discovery of 18 species of tree. At the foot of each tree, you will find a QR code to scan for more detailed information.
On the initiative of the late Jean-Marc Aubert, a founding member of the Groupe Aiglon d'Intérêt Arboricole (GAIA), the remarkable tree walk was created in the town of Aigle. The 3.3km tour takes around an hour and is open to everyone. Each tree has a special feature or anecdote that can be accessed by scanning the QR codes placed underneath the trees.
