What's new for summer 2023

In Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets-Bex, summer brings with it its share of novelties.

Opening of the Lac Noir – Chaux Ronde chairlift this summer

This summer, the ski lifts are expanding their offers: great news for successful family outings!

Notice to hiking enthusiasts: the Magic Pass now allows users of the Villars-Bretaye line to take it free of charge all year round, from May 18, 2023!

In addition, the brand new 8-seater Lac Noir – Chaux Ronde chairlift is also in operation on July 15-16, 22-23 & 29-30 and August 5-6 & 12-13, as well as the usual openings of the gondola at Roc d'Orsay and the Grand Chamossaire chairlift from June 17 to August 27!

Considerably improving passenger comfort while reducing waiting times, the Lac Noir – Chaux Ronde chairlift is part of the destination's strategy to expand its summer offers, favoring attractive prices. Indeed, it is available at a single price of CHF 15, half price on presentation of the Welcome and Loyalty card, free for Magic Pass holders!

Inauguration of the new vineyard trail

The vineyard trail is getting a makeover between Yvorne and Saint-Maurice: more than 30km of trails await you!

An immersive walk dotted with numerous cellars offering local wine tastings, the new vineyard trail will be inaugurated on June 18, 2023 and will connect Yvorne to Saint-Maurice in a sublime and authentic setting.

During your hike, 19 totems also allow you to learn more about the history of the vine and the art of cultivating it to produce exceptional wines!

Easily accessible by public transport, various tourist attractions are also dotted along the route and are suitable for everyone: the main ones are the Château d'Aigle and its Vine, Wine and Wine Label Museum, the Bex Salt Mines, and the thermal center of Lavey-les-Bains.

A summer challenge promoting self-transcendence!

Summer offers based on surpassing oneself will be offered exclusively this summer in the Vaud Alps. As part of this campaign, you can also take up a sporting challenge allowing you to win a bag full of gifts (to be collected from our tourist offices!) and to automatically participate in the big competition allowing you to win a weekend in the region.

It could not be “easier”: Walk up to the following 4 peaks: La Croix des Chaux (Gryon), Le Grand Chamossaire (Villars), the summit of La Palette (Les Diablerets) and the Croix de Javerne (Bex); post a photo of the summit in your Instagram or Facebook newsfeed with the #faislepourtoi by tagging the station you are in!

Bex: a municipality that cares about the future

Meet at Bex & Arts for a poetic invitation to confront the future.

Vivement demain !” (“Can't wait until tomorrow!”) is an open-air exhibition taking place during the Bex & Arts triennial, whose objective is to offer a ground for reflection on the societal issues surrounding us. Twenty-four projects will allow you to confront a future that is a source of worry and that opposes a certain nostalgia for the past. Between lightness and depth, the exhibition leaves no one indifferent!
