Adeline Grüter-Mayor has been working in the family business Cave Mayor in Vevey since 2012, perpetuating the know-how in wine of four generations of coopers, cellarers and winemakers.

A new label was born in 2020 in Leysin with the creation of the Rucher de Velard by the Commune of Leysin. It is run by the municipal services. The long-term objective is to turn it into an educational centre.

The Rucher de Velard is located below the village near the Suchet forest, a few minutes' walk from the ice rink. This relaxing place offers a splendid view of the Rhone Valley. In this magnificent natural setting, you can discover the work of the beekeeper and his equipment, as well as the work of the bees.

Since the beginning of the apiary's operation, Laurent Tauxe, also known as Enzo, has been wearing the costume of a beekeeper and takes care of the hives and their inhabitants on a weekly basis, as well as extracting and bottling the honey.
