A panoramic plateau in the heart of the Alpe des Chaux, Frience offers a multitude of free activities for the whole family in all seasons. Swimming in summer, sliding in winter, families will be delighted to spend unforgettable moments on the Frience plateau in Gryon!
At Frience, a bathing facility with stunning views of the Miroir d’Argentine awaits you! Three specifically designed pools are available:
Paddling pool with a maximum depth of 40 centimetres located in the small pool next to the Refuge de Frience
Non-swimming area with a maximum depth of 90 centimetres located in the small pool facing Solalex
Large pool with a maximum depth of 2.50 metres A water treatment area using aquatic plants (not accessible to the public) complements the facilities.
In high season, open every afternoon, only when the weather is good and without reservation.
Possibility of privatization from 10:00 am, on reservation.

Le Refuge de Frience
The terrace of the Frience restaurant calls for a moment of delectation and well-being. The alp of Frience
The sound of bells you may hear as you walk along is the sound of the herd on the Frience Alp. The cows graze on these pastures on a rich variety of alpine flora. The products made from the milk of these cows develop a strong local taste. The cheeses are creamy and smooth. Stop by the chalet, meet the friendly owners and take home sweet and savoury delicacies made with passion and love.
