Ex-athlete of the Swiss Alpine Ski Team
Charlotte started skiing at a very young age. Her parents are both ski instructors, and her father is also an ex-coach, so Charlotte has been immersed in this milieu since early childhood.
At the age of 8, she started attending the Villars skiing club, and was quickly selected for the teams of the Ski Romand organisation. At 15, she pursued her path by entering the National Performance Centre in Brig. She graduated from the business school and also found success at the sporting level at the same time.
Charlotte joined the C team of Swiss Ski in 2012. She has sustained several injuries throughout her budding career, and these in turn have curtailed her ski seasons in no uncertain terms. With strong determination, hard work and the will to continue, she has donned the skis once again after each injury.
She recorded a victory at the International Ski Federation race in 2013, 3rd and 4th place in the European Cup during the 2013-14 season, then qualification in the World Championships in Vail in 2014 in the United States. Charlotte finished 15th in the slalom, the best result for the Swiss. She proved her form with 11th place at the World Cup slalom in Maribor in the same year. In the 2015-16 season, Charlotte raced in the all the World Cup slaloms. She began with 9th place in the Aspen slalom. It became more difficult to follow this, with a great deal of time off the slopes. Another fall then put a stop to her progress. After a long period of retraining, Charlotte was back on her skis and is training hard to take part in the world cup.
In the 2017-18 season, Charlotte tried to regain her skiing level and focused on her physical condition, coming back with a vengeance the following season.
Charlotte Chable grew up and learned to ski in Villars.
