Ailyos 2023 – « Resources »
From 1 July to 23 October 2023, the AILYOS Art & Nature exhibition presents its 6th edition.
Drawing on the rich landscapes of our region, AILYOS offers a poetic and dreamlike scenography for more than 70 sculptures spread between Aigle, Yvorne, Col des Mosses, Les Diablerets, Leysin and, for the first time this year, the Pays-d'Enhaut (Rossinière - Château d'Oex - Rougemont).
Theme
The artists worked on the theme of "Resources". This is not just a topical issue; resources have always been at the heart of human, animal and plant concerns. Artists have taken up the theme and given us their artistic interpretation.
Works to discover
Around 50 artists have been selected to take part in this 2023 edition, representing some 70 works, some of them presenting several sculptures. The staging of the works reinforces the message of each artist, and each work finds its setting, creating a real communication between the place and the sculpture, whether in an urban, rural or alpine setting.
