The Buffet de la Gare in Gryon is located on the Bex-Villars-Bretaye train line in the heart of the Vaudois Alps. Its sunny terrace offers a superb view of the surrounding mountains.
The restaurant offers a carefully prepared menu with a wide range of traditional dishes such as cheese fondue, meat fondue and a choice of pasta dishes, as well as other specialities such as sautéed prawns with Asian flavours, lamb mice with honey and thyme or the "SuperBurger du Buffet". The restaurant regularly organises themed evenings, including the famous "mussels and chips" evenings. The dining room (50 seats) lends itself easily to family meals, business meals, company meals, romantic get-togethers or any other special occasion. In addition, the bistro-carnotzet (20 seats), with its cheerful and friendly decoration, appeals to lovers of cheese dishes. Enlarged in 2013, the terrace has a magnificent south-east view with a panorama stretching from the Diablerets massif to the Dents du Midi, via the Grand Muveran and the Dent de Morcles.
