SKI AREA (VGD)

Description

The resorts of Villars, Gryon and Les Diablerets are linked together to form a ski area with over 130 km of pistes. There is something for all levels of skiers. At the summit of Glacier 3000, the highest point in the canton of Vaud, snow conditions are ideal from October to May.

Beginners can start learning with confidence thanks to the dedicated areas. The snow gardens of Villars, Gryon and Les Diablerets are welcoming places for young skiers. Qualified teachers from the various ski schools will guide you through your first runs! Adopt the best techniques and make this sport a real pleasure! Wide slopes, sunny slopes on an area ranging from 1200 metres to 3000 metres in altitude, this playground offers many possibilities. In Les Diablerets, take to the Willy Favre piste day and night (open at night three nights a week). This run regularly hosts international competitions, including the 2020 Youth Olympic Games. Several snowparks and a skicross track make your days on our ski area more enjoyable. Glacier 3000 offers the highest slopes in the Vaud Alps. Experienced skiers can take to the Combe d'Audon, one of the toughest black runs in the region, or the Red Run, which is over 8 kilometres long and has an exceptional vertical drop of over 1700 metres. The snowpark, meanwhile, gives wings to freestylers. The pleasures of the snow are accessible to skiers and non-skiers alike! The terraces of the high-altitude restaurants are also easily accessible to pedestrians thanks to the trains and gondolas that link the resorts to the slopes.

For everyone's safety, snowmobiles are not allowed in our ski area.
