Prafandaz Plateau
Overview
For a beautiful view or even a beautiful sunset on Lake Geneva, the Prafandaz plateau is without doubt the best spot. Furthermore, a picnic area with tables and grill is available. This amazing area is accessible both in summer and winter.
Taking a rest here will reward you with moments of perfect idyll. Reach the plateau after walking through the snow-covered area and let your gaze wander into the vast distance. It is particularly beautiful to experience the sunset here.
A picnic area with grill, tables and benches is available. If you are not a fire expert, the Chalet-Restaurant de Prafandaz, where you can warm up or enjoy culinary delights, is only a few metres away.
Prafandaz is also the starting point for several walks or a well-deserved break at the end of a walk or a bike ride. In winter, two snowshoe routes start from Prafandaz. A small slope is also appreciated by the little sledders.
