Picnic Areas - Aigle

Description

Lunch is ready ! In the fresh air, in the great outdoors, a meal is always so much tastier. Enjoy a bite to eat at 7 different picnic spots in Aigle. Fully equipped and located in delightfully natural settings, these picnic areas are perfect to share a meal with family and friends.

On the edge of the forest, on the banks of a canal or even in the centre of town, all picnic areas are equipped with tables and chairs. The vast surrounding grasslands are perfect for children to run around and play. If the weather is looking inclement, there’s a shelter at the Farettes picnic site and there’s also a woodcutters’ shelter at the Mêlée site. So there’s no drama if a few spots of rain intervene at lunchtime. For safety reasons barbecues and bonfires are prohibited on all Aigle’s picnic sites. So the cervelat sausage replaces the merguez on the menu ; just as well it can also be eaten raw !
