The Ormonts Museum is located in the historic hamlet of Vers-L'Eglise. Through exhibitions, publications and educational tours, you will discover the rich traditions and daily life in the Ormonts valley, presented according to various themes: architecture, geology, natural hazards, alpine economy of the region.

Extending from Aigle to the foot of the Diablerets Massif, the Ormonts Valley is a region steeped in tradition and blessed with a rich cultural heritage. To preserve and share these traditions, the Musée des Ormonts regularly puts together exhibitions showcasing different aspects of the valley. The history of winter sport, a journey through old photographs, the Diablerets Bitter drink, devil’s legends and 100 years of regional railway are but a few of the themes that have been covered over the past years. Thanks to exciting interactive exhibitions, visitors come away feeling that a secret of the Vaud Alps has been revealed. The Musée des Ormonts reopens its doors on Friday 23 March 2024. Come and discover the exhibition "AVALanche" to mark the 40th anniversary of a series of major avalanches in Les Ormonts. "AVALanche" To mark the 40th anniversary of a series of major avalanches in Les Ormonts, the Musée des Ormonts will be staging an exhibition called "AVALanche", dealing with scientific aspects such as nivology and the different types of avalanche.

- The museum is suitable for families - Open all year round for groups on request. - Free admission for children SEASONAL CLOSING May 20 to June 21. REOPENING from Saturday June 22 to Sunday October 27 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. CARTE BIENVENUE AND CARTE FIDÉLITÉ - Free admission from 22 Nov 2023 to 31 May 2024 - Free admission from saturday 22 June to sunday 27 October 2024
