Open air ice rink at Château-d'Œx

Description

Some laps on the ice, repeated glances at the majestic mountain panorama and the anticipation for a hot chocolate: the ice rink in Château-d'Œx brings back childhood memories and is a place where you can enjoy yourself for hours with family or friends.

Located in the centre of the village, the ice rink offers you all the joys of sliding on ice! Strap on your ice skates and head out to meet the fresh ice under the blue sky. The natural setting of our open-air skating rink will certainly not leave you indifferent! Besides the simple pleasure of skating, you can also try more dynamic sports at the ice rink: A part of the ice surface is reserved for ice hockey team players. Curling, a sport that has been practiced for almost a century in the Pays-d'Enhaut, can also be played on the rink. On request, the local club offers introductory courses for those who want to learn the subtleties of this game invented in the 16th century. Enjoy warming up with a hot drink or a good meal in the rink's restaurant.
