Cooperative brewery, La Mine, in Bex a den for new beers made with local products.

The Bex cooperative brewery was created in September 2016. A new collective project set in motion by beer lovers from Bellerin. In just a few years, projects have been developed thanks to participatory financing. La Mine Cooperative is developing a whole eco-system of support between consumers, producers, suppliers and distributors revolving around beer. The beers are made from spring water drawn from the hills above Bex and the brewery supports the development of a hop plantation in Les Dévens as well as organic malting barley in Bex. The spent grain, the cereal left over after brewing, is offered to farmers and bakers in the region. Synergies are being developed locally with local players, in particular the Mines de Sel de Bex and a winegrower! Several types of beers have already been created, vary the flavours! the Minette, a well-hopped beer with citrus aromas, a red beer with a smoky nose: Carmine and Baramine, a dark beer with chocolate and coffee aromas! Enjoy! Coming soon, the Gose beer, called "La Minérale", made with salt from the Bex saltworks and the "LocaMine", made with 100% Bellerin barley and hops!
