Deer park

Description

Alone, with family or friends, the Leysin deer park, located behind the Tobogganing Park, is the ideal place to spend a relaxing moment. Accessible all year round and at any time of the day, on foot, by car or by bike, it is also the starting point for lovely family walks.

Since generations, the story of the cartoon hero "Bambi" has fascinated young and old. The deer park in Leysin offers the rare chance to admire deer and roe deer at close distance. It is not unusual for them to approach the fence of the enclosure, allowing you to spot their dark eyes, their supple movements, their imposing antlers. The animals move freely around the area, sometimes hiding behind the trees and coming to the feeding station whenever they are hungry. The animal enclosure borders the Suchet forest and is just a stone's throw away from the Tobogganing Park as well as the ice rink. A short walk will surely be a lovely surprise, especially for children. A picnic area and a car park are located nearby.
