Frience Sledge runs
Description
Enjoy the pleasure of skiing with your family at Frience, on the Alpe des Chaux; admire the view of the Vaud Alps and the Dents du Midi.
Young and old alike enjoy sledging on three specially designed runs, from beginner to expert level, with a free conveyor belt for the ascent. This carpet is protected by a wooden chalet-style cover, which is both attractive and durable; unique in Switzerland! Don't miss the night sessions on Thursdays during the school holidays in February (15, 22, and 25).
Practical Information
ACCESS : - by shuttle bus (Gryon - Alpe des Chaux, seven trips per day in low season and 15 trips per day in high season) - by ski from the Barboleuse-Les Chaux cable car - by car (from Barboleuse) - two paying car parks, located nearby (La Golèze and Frience). - by gondola from Barboleuse to Le Chaux, then a 3km snow trail to Frience EQUIPMENT HIRE Sledges, bobs, skibobs, snowscoots and yooners are available for hire, as well as helmets.
