Diablerets Hut SAC

The Diablerets hut (CAS Section Jaman) offers a superb panorama of the Vaud and Bernese Alps. During the guarding period, eat and sleep in this typical and friendly place.

Local cuisine and homemade cakes delight your taste buds after a day of sport in the Diablerets massif. The 45-seat indoor restaurant and the 50-seat sun terrace welcome you at an altitude of 2,485 metres. The hut is both a goal and a stage for hiking. It is also the starting point for the ascent of the highest peak in the Vaud Alps: Les Diablerets. The area offers running, climbing and other activities for all levels. Beginners and experienced climbers alike find something to enjoy in this massif!

Practical Information

Open from June to September, or early October if the weather permits, and from December to May. OPENING HOURS 2023 - Closed on 17 September - Reopening for New Year's raclette evening on 31 December The hut is open outside the opening periods on request. The hut is only open in the presence of the warden. There is no first aid room or winter room. The Diablerets hut is owned by the Jaman section of the Swiss Alpine Club.
