Chocokiel

Description

Did you say chocolate in Leysin ? And so much more besides ! Ezequiel and Sarah have created a whole range of delicacies made from sheep milk. In their Crettaz workshop right next door to the farm, organic milk is the magic ingredient which makes the Chocokiel chococaltes so deliciously tasty.

Chokokiel's passion is to pass on this love for a natural product, without preservatives, colourings or other synthetic products, in its chocolates. The sheep's milk is very smooth and blends perfectly with the chocolate to make a unique praline. Everything is produced by hand, from the making of the chocolate to the box. Ezequiel is the head of the laboratory, he creates the recipes and makes the pralines. He studied at the hotel school in Madrid, obtained a CFC in pastry-making in Leysin and followed numerous courses specialising in chocolate in Spain and Switzerland. His dream since he was 4 years old: to produce chocolate in Switzerland! Sara adds her many skills and takes care of all the logistics, from the making of the box to the delivery and the content of the website. Their workshop is located in an organic farm in the small hamlet of Crettaz at the bottom of the village of Leysin. This place, surrounded by pasture and an incredible view of the mountains, inspires them to create great recipes. Chocolate lovers can only lick their lips. The "Edelweiss" box offers an artistic and contemporary range with flavours that will make you travel: white chocolate, Tahitian vanilla and Modena balsamic vinegar, or Chamomile from the Därstetten region and honey, but all using local milk.
