Café-Restaurant L'Etable

Description

The name of this restaurant was chosen with care. It is in a real stable, beautifully transformed, that you can enjoy local dishes. As an added bonus, watch the animals from your table in their own space! A unique experience for young and old!

L'Etable welcomes you in summer and winter, either indoors or on its large wooden terrace with a view of the surrounding mountain pastures. This charming place is very popular with both skiers and hikers. Enjoy delicious traditional regional dishes in a tastefully decorated setting. Your table neighbours, the two donkeys, Sancho and Tempête, or the "black-nosed" sheep, which have their own space behind a glass window, entertain young and old during the meal. The epicureans have also their place. Here are a few tempting specialities on the menu: mushroom cassolette on a nest of rösti, roast knuckle of pork with Alpine honey, papet vaudois, crayfish and asparagus lasagne and, of course, half-and-half fondue and cheese croûtes. In autumn, hunting is also on the menu. In winter, the Etable hut offers drinks, sandwiches, sweets and barbecued sausages.
