Bovonne alpine pastures are a popular place to stop during a hike or a destination in itself to watch Bovonne cheese being made.

The Bovonne mountain pasture offers a refreshment bar to eat or drink during the summer months. Every day, the Bovonne alpine cheese is made, as well as serac, butter and double cream, all of which are sold on site. Cows are milked at 6am and 5pm. The animals on the mountain pasture: cows, sheep, chickens, pigs. Every year in mid-September, a traditional desalp is organised.

Several hiking trails from Gryon or Solalex lead you to this mountain pasture.
