Welcome to the Restaurant-Hotel du Miroir de l'Argentine. Taste the authentic and creative cuisine which has been awarded the "Label Fait Maison" and our 13/20 rating in the Gault & Millau gastronomic guide. The Miroir de l'Argentine restaurant & hotel is located in the bucolic pasture of Solalex in the Vaud Alps. On the heights of the commune of Bex, about fifteen minutes from Gryon and Villars.
Protected by the magnificent mountain cirque, the Miroir de l'Argentine restaurant & hotel is situated in a unique setting. But you won't find any South American specialities, as Argentina refers to the silver reflections of the mountain wall, which looks so smooth that it was named Miroir d'Argentine. The cuisine on offer honours the land that surrounds us, taking its time, always seasonal, often simple, sometimes revisited, each time with passion. On the 1st and 2nd floor of the Miroir d'Argentine there are 8 hotel rooms, completely renovated in 2022 and all decorated differently, each with its own bathroom with shower.
Practical Information
OPENING Open all year round except from mid-November to mid-December and in April. Reservation strongly recommended. Exceptionally, it will be open for lunch and dinner on 31 July and 1 August. ACCESS - In winter: from December to April, the Solalex mountain pasture is not accessible by road. The road is closed for the winter season at Cergnement where a large car park is at your disposal. Afterwards, you can reach Solalex on foot, by cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ski touring or snowmobile (for a fee). - In summer: from May to November, a beautiful tarmac road takes you to the front of the hotel. HOTEL - The hotel has 8 comfortable rooms BICYCLES - E-bike recharging point and tools at your disposal - Bike Hotel" certification from Switzerland Tourism and the Swiss Hotel Industry.
