Curling in Leysin

Curling has a long tradition in the Vaud Alps, which is why the game, in which the aim is to place one's stone in the "house", is surely a must when visiting the sports centre of the skating rink in Leysin. Two curling lanes are available for visitors and guests. You don't have to be a champion to try out and enjoy this Olympic team sport! All you need is dexterity and a sense of balance.

Curling is primarily a winter sport but can be played indoors all year round. Regular introduction courses are held at the sports centre of the skating rink, which allow you to learn the official rules of the game and have a great time. Groups can attend specially supervised sessions. Curling requires balance, strength and precision. This sport is played on ice with granite stones. During the game, you must communicate with your teammates in order to score the most points. The goal is to aim at the circular target at the end of the track. The closer the stone is to the centre, the more points the team scores. You will find a restaurant right next to the skating area, perfect to warm up or simply to watch the action on the ice and enjoy a snack. Our centres are open to individuals but can also be booked by groups on sports camps.
