You have a good physical condition, you ride your bike regularly but you are not used to doing steep climbs? Lillie Rumpf, bike guide based in Gryon, proposes you this tour in collaboration with the 100% female team Passione Sportiva.
Solo or with your group of friends, you will ride down to the Rhône plain on a quiet road before taking a break at the World Cycling Center in Aigle. The headquarters of the International Cycling Union, this spectacular building also houses a velodrome, a bicycle exhibition and a café where you can get some food. You will go back to Villars by another road, also away from the traffic. This climb of about 15 kilometers for 800 meters of difference in altitude will represent the challenge of the day. Throughout the ride, your guide will accompany you and help you to manage your effort on the way up, to improve your technique on the way down and to ride with others. The tour is 45km long and 800m high. It takes between 3 and 4 hours to ride it (including stops).

Your guide will contact you by email after your registration and all useful information will be given to you a few days before the outing.
We can help you to rent a road bike in a local shop (if you need it, please send an email to lillie@cycliste.ch)
- Come with your road bike in perfect working order and your complete equipment (including helmet, cycling shoes, gloves and sunglasses).- Food and beverages during the tour are the responsibility of the participants.- The tour takes place in all weather conditions, unless the guide decides that the conditions are dangerous. In this case, the tour will be postponed to a date convenient to the participants. The decision will be communicated at least 24 hours before the tour. In case of sudden changes in weather conditions during the tour, the guide has the authority to make any appropriate decisions.
If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
