You have a good physical condition, you ride your bike regularly but you are not used to climbing passes? Lillie Rumpf, bike guide based in Gryon, offers you this tour in collaboration with the 100% female team Passione Sportiva.
Solo or with your group of friends, you will climb with a guide 2 passes of the Vaud Alps: the Col du Pillon and the Col des Mosses, staying mostly away from the traffic on roads that only local cyclists know! Your guide will accompany you and help you to manage your effort on the way up, to improve your technique on the way down and to ride with others. You will have several breaks in refreshment bars and other typical places of the Vaud Alps to refuel and taste the local specialties. The tour is 85 km long and has a 1700 m difference in altitude. It is necessary to count between 5 and 7 hours to cover it.
INCLUDED SERVICES - Tour with a professional guide MEETING POINT - 9 a.m. at the Diablerets train station CONDITIONS - Your guide will contact you by email after your registration and all useful information will be given to you a few days before the outing. - We can help you to rent a road bike in a local shop (if you need it, please send an email to lillie@cycliste.ch). - Come with your road bike in perfect working order and your complete equipment (including helmet, cycling shoes, gloves and sunglasses). - Food and beverages during the tour are the responsibility of the participants. - The tour takes place in all weather conditions, unless the guide decides that the conditions are dangerous.
