Mountain training days for women

Description

Meet the guides of the Alpes Vaudoises for days of initiation and deepening of the mountain terrain. Take advantage of their experience to learn about outdoor activities and enjoy the wonders that nature has to offer.

Session 1: January 18, 19 and 20 / February 8, 9 and 10 / March 1, 2 and 3

Physical demands: Not very demanding, participants with regular physical activity are welcome.

Technical requirements: Participants must be able to ski parallel and be comfortable on red and some black runs (uncomfortable on powder and moguls).

Terrain knowledge: Little or no knowledge, the guide is there to supervise you and advise you on the different techniques to use depending on the terrain.

January 18, February 8 or March 3 : DVA instructio

Learn how to use your avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel. A training for you and especially for your friends. The essential basis to evolve in safety during your snow outings.

January 19th, February 9th or March 2nd : Freeride initiation

Off-piste skiing is a great feeling of freedom. The chance to make your mark on immaculate snow, in the middle of large virgin natural spaces. Thanks to the mechanical installations we use to access the top of the slopes, and to your guide's excellent knowledge of the terrain, you will be able to get off the slopes.

January 20, February 10 and March 3: Introduction to ski touring

Do you like to go for a walk? Ski touring is the best way to get around in winter. If you have a good technique of ski touring and you like wide open spaces, this activity is made for you. During this first day, you will get familiar with your equipment and the basic techniques.
