Meule à Charbon in Rossinière
Description
After 5 years, the Youth of Rossinière invites you this summer in the forest of the Pike for the return of the mythical Meule à Charbon! Concerts, thematic meals, village market, handicraft and many other surprises are waiting for you during 2 weeks.
The Youth of Rossinière sets up the 4th edition of the Meule à Charbon. After the one of 2001, 2006 and 2017, here comes the 2023 edition! Located inside the forest "Le Brochet" in La Tine, a coal millstone is installed especially for the occasion! With the help of a charcoal maker, the youth will prepare and light this pile of wood in order to transform it into coal. The charcoal will then be sold to the delight of barbecue lovers. In order to mark the occasion, the Youth of Rossinière invites you to many meetings between July 27th and August 13th, in order to celebrate this authentic tradition! (Program soon available)
