Gourmet walk – Les Mosses

Description

Walk or discover local products? No need to choose! A hike punctuated by meals in three mountain refreshment stands allows you to discover both the landscape and the local products of the Col des Mosses region. The walking time is about 3 hours, and the gourmet breaks give you the opportunity to rest while discovering a mountain of flavours!

Your walk begins at the Charmilles refreshment bar where you will enjoy an aperitif of cheese and cold meats, accompanied by a glass of wine (syrup for the children). Then, start the ascent to the Lioson lake by a forest path and then a path that offers you a beautiful view of the Pra Cornet plateau. At the restaurant of the Lioson lake, you will have the choice between 4 dishes (ham on the bone, cheese crust, fondue or cordon bleu and chips). Then, continue your way by taking the small path which overhangs the restaurant's terrace. This will lead you to a magnificent panorama and dessert. The Petits Lacs refreshment bar will serve you a homemade dessert (a slice of linz cooked on a wood fire or a slice of seasonal fruit cake) as well as an Italian coffee machine to finish your gourmet walk. Return to the car park by descending through the flora and under the eye of the yaks which graze around the hut.
