Espace Graffenried - Opening of the autumn exhibitions

Description

The Espace Graffenried opens its new exhibitions.

The public is invited to take part in the opening of the new exhibitions at the Espace Graffenried. The two exhibitions "Behind the Landscape" by Louis Rivier and "Anchored" by Tami Hopf are inaugurated in the presence of the artist Tami Hopf. An aperitif will be offered after the opening. In the upper room: The exhibition "Louis Rivier. Behind the Landscape" is an invitation to discover a specific part of the work of the Vaudois painter, revealing a connection to nature that suggests a passage to new dimensions. The three chapters highlight the artist's relationship - but also ours - to the divine, whether in the representation of the landscape as such, in the background of portraits, or as a setting in allegorical and religious scenes. In the lower room: Designed especially for this exhibition, the series "Anchored" reveals the delicacy and complexity of the work of Tami Hopf, a muralist who is also specialised in illustration. Her work evokes dreamlike and surreal worlds, exploring the links between nature and human emotions. "Anchored" questions our relationship to the infinitely large, our experience of the physical dimension and what connects us as human beings.

No registration necessary.
