Since 2016, Ciné-Doc has been committed to promoting the distribution of documentary films and strengthening the link between films and the public by placing participation at the heart of its action. With Le rendez-vous documentaire des cinémas romands, Ciné-Doc accompanies each month - between September and April - the tour of a documentary film in a network of about twenty partner cinemas in French-speaking Switzerland: 150 events, most of the time in the presence of the filmmakers or thematic speakers, allow for rich exchanges with the public. These actions, coupled with a reinforced presence in villages and small towns, will allow to reinforce the popularity of documentary cinema and make these offers accessible to an ever more diversified public.
