The village's baker put it back into operation for the 900th anniversary of the Commune. The bread oven in Rougemont, dating from the 18th century, is in use during the school holidays! A team of enthusiasts prepares specialities cooked in the bread oven to order and sold on Wednesday lunchtimes. Sweet cakes: - Apples - Pears - Apricots - Peaches - Prunes - Cream - Cooked wine Savoury cakes: - Pizza - Cheese - Quiche - Speciality of the day (information from Pays-d'Enhaut RĂ©gion) Bread with three flours

Orders must be placed by Tuesday at 5pm at the latest with the Pays-d'Enhaut RĂ©gion on +41 (0) 26 925 11 66 The pies are to be collected between 12 noon and 1pm directly from the Cure de Rougemont. It is located on the left-hand side of the road just after the Alpina car garage when arriving in Rougemont.
