Description
The Vallon de Nant nature reserve: discovering the flora of Vaud.
Since 1896, the Vallon de Nant has been part of the Federal Free District of the Grand Muveran, thus guaranteeing protection for the fauna and biotopes. In 1961, the Vaud Grand Council strengthened the protection of the valley by creating a nature reserve, when it almost became a Swiss army base. Come and discover the Vallon de Nant nature reserve, its history and its exceptional flora, accompanied and explained by Mr. Dutoit, botanist, and Mr. Bonnet, gardener-botanist, from the alpine garden La Thomasia.
