FIFAD is moving to Villars for the first time to present the best of its 54th edition from 15 to 17 December, with some prestigious guests!
The best of the FIFAD over three days! Friday 15 December is dedicated to nature and the environment, with "Mongolia, Valley of the Bears", the FIFAD Grand Prize winner. The guest of honour is the world-famous photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The opening evening will kick off with a film-concert by Sara Oswald and Robin Girod, two rising stars on the music scene in French-speaking Switzerland. A tribute to women, on Saturday 16 December, with the exceptional presence of Sophie Lavaud, the third woman in the world to have climbed the world's fourteen eight-thousanders. The programme also focuses on glaciers and forests, with glaciologist Heïdi Sevestre and botanist Ernst Zürcher. On Sunday 17 December, film and mountain professionals will be sharing their expertise in directing and producing a very special kind of cinema.
