Six artists reinvent JS Bach's first suite in an urban, rhythmic, and powerful sound context.
The Baroque suite reconnects with dance, and three hundred years later, its Gavotte, Gigue, and Minuet inspire the contemporary dance of Aigle-based break dancers KFM Crew and the original music of the Swiss musician Matthieu Mantanus, with cellist Guillaume Bouillon, against a backdrop of drawings by the Swiss artist Philippe Berbier. We are delighted to bring this one-of-a-kind production to Leysin.
