For a weekend, artists from all over Switzerland and Europe will be presenting their work in Château-d'Œx to share their passion for decoupage. The ideal opportunity to learn more about this important tradition of the Pays-d'Enhaut!

On July 6 and 7, 2024, discover decoupage directly from passionate artists and in the village that has marked the history of this art! Nearly 40 artists from Switzerland and Europe, each with very different styles, will be on hand to share their passion for decoupage, cutting, exhibiting and selling their work. During your visit, stroll through the village of Château-d'Œx and gradually discover the secrets of this delicate art! Four venues are dedicated to the event: - the MOB station underpass - the Grande Salle - Collège Henchoz - the Musée du Pays-d'Enhaut, Swiss Center for Paper Cutting. Weekend program: 10:00-17:00: Exhibition, artists' work and sales of cut-outs at Passage sous-voie MOB, Collège Henchoz, and Grande salle 10:00-17:00: Die-cutting exhibition by Claude Yersin and Toshiko & Markus Blum at Musée du Pays-d'Enhaut, Centre Suisse du Papier Découpé and die-cutting demonstration by Pierre Mottier 10h00-12h00: Paper-cutting workshops at the Grande Salle with Elisabeth Nicollier 11:00-17:00: Live decoupage portraits with Christian Flückiger at the Grande Salle and Stéphanie Miguet at the Passage sous-voie MOB 11:00-13:00: Cheese-making demonstration at Le Chalet restaurant and cheese dairy 11:30am-1:30pm: Lunch at a restaurant of your choice in Château-d'Œx 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Cutting workshops at the Grande Salle with Elisabeth Nicollier 1:30 pm: Introduction to decoupage with Véronique Jaquillard at Espace Ballon NEW 2:00 pm: Free guided tour of the exhibition “Le Grand des Marques - Vision du futur”, departure from the MOB underpass. 3:30 pm: Introduction to decoupage with Véronique Jaquillard at Espace Ballon NEW 5:00 pm: Doors close Plan your program so you don't miss the highlights of the 8th Journées du Papier Découpé! Practical Information

ACCESS & PARKING - by train: via the MOB line from Montreux and Zweisimmen (stop "Château-d'Œx station") - by bus: via the TPC line from Aigle (stop "Château-d'Œx station") - by car: you can leave your car in the underground car park in the village or at the COOP (CHF 1.- per hour) To get to this event, we strongly advise you to take public transport. Equipped with panoramic wagons, the MOB line will allow you to enjoy the journey all the way to Château-d'Œx.
