You will hike on a paved route, where snow has been packed down to facilitate your path over the kilometres.

The Vaud Alps are well known for their superb and enjoyable snowshoe hikes, for you to have a smooth hike, whatever the snow height. On a marked and secure trail, you follow the signs to move, snowshoes on your feet, in the heart of nature. Whatever the height of the fresh snow, your snowshoes give you the necessary lightness to move easily in the snow.

You can also follow the trails accompanied by a guide who will introduce you to the diversity of this region.

Over 100 km of marked hiking trails are awaiting, for you to fully enjoy this area, as well as to regenerate and recharge your batteries, on our marked and groomed trails.

More than 190 km of marked trails await you in the Vaud Alps. For both beginners and advanced hikers, young and old, snowshoeing is for everyone.

You can rent the necessary equipment in the local sports shops. 

While you're out there, enjoy the surrounding area and remember, it's not unusual to come across rabbits and foxes in this unspoilt winter wonderland.
