Winter closure of the Col de la Croix road

The Col de la Croix road, linking Villars to Les Diablerets, is officially closed from 18 November 2022 at 4pm for the entire winter season. The date of reopening will be communicated in the spring.

Maintenance of the Villars-Bretaye and Villars-Barboleuse train line

Due to various works, the Villars-Bretaye and Villars-Barboleuse line will be closed this spring.

• The Villars-Bretaye line : total interruption from 17 April 2023 to 17 May 2023

• The Villars-Barboleuse line total interruption from 17 to 20 April 2023

The road will be closed to all traffic on 16 April and 19 April 2023. A bus service will be set up for 19 and 20 April 2023.

Work on the RC719 road between Villars and Barboleuse

Traffic will continue to flow on an alternating basis through traffic lights until October 2023. The road will be closed to all traffic between Arveye (La Clairière) and Barboleuse from 16 April (from 10pm) until 19 April 2023(to 5am). A diversion will be put in place in both directions between Villars-Ollon-Bex-Gryon. Rail traffic will also be interrupted between 17 and 20 April 2023, with a replacement bus between 19 and 20 April 2023 (more information: www.tpc.ch/barboleuse). During the winter season, the construction site will be at a standstill, allowing normal traffic to flow in both directions for road and rail. More information

Closure of the "Ollon-Huémoz" section for road resurfacing

The Ollon-Huémoz section will be completely closed on 10 and 11 June for road resurfacing. A diversion will be put in place. Possible postponement to 24 and 25 June depending on weather conditions.
