During your registration or the creation of your personal account, Alpes Vaudoises requires the following personal data (hereinafter referred to as master data) for the processing of a possible contract to be concluded with you in the future:

  • Orders (booked services including dates of service provision and their prices and information necessary for service provision)

The facts concerning the storage and processing of personal data are explained below.

3.1 - Payment for booked services

When checking out of the shopping basket, the booked services must be paid for. The payment process is handled by the payment service provider Datatrans AG and the data is processed by Payyo AG by Trekksoft AG.

3.2 - Visiting the website

  • Purpose: When our website is used for information purposes only (no registration and no transmission of other information), personal data is collected that is transmitted from your browser to our server. This is technically necessary in order to display our website to you and to be able to guarantee the stability and security of the website.

  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest

  • The following data is processed: IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to GMT, content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, requesting website, browser, operating system and interface, language, and version of the browser software.

3.3 - Electronic contact requests via the website

  • Purpose: Processing of contact enquiries via e-mail or the website contact form.

  • Legal basis: Fulfilment of a contract, necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, legitimate interest.

  • Storage period: Until the enquiry is answered. If there are legal retention obligations, processing will be restricted until then.

3.4 - Customer management, accounting, litigation.

  • Purpose: processing of personal data in the context of any business relationship with customers and suppliers in the course of the exercise of a trade, including systematic recording of all business transactions relating to income and expenditure.

  • Legal basis: consent, performance of a contract, necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interest, esp. defence, exercise and assertion of legal claims, explicit consent.

  • The following personal data is processed: Master data

  • Storage period: Until the termination of the business relationship or until the expiry of the applicable statutory retention or limitation periods. In addition, data is stored until the end of any legal disputes in which it is needed as evidence.

  • Recipients/categories of recipients: Organisers, service providers, legal representatives, auditors, tax office, courts, and authorities

  • Purpose: Processing of customer and prospective customer data for the initiation of business concerning the range of services, dispatch of additional travel or leisure information in the course of the contractual relationship as an additional service, implementation of advertising measures and newsletter dispatch; customer relation management.

  • Legal basis: consent, fulfilment of a contract, necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, fulfilment of a legal obligation, legitimate interest, in particular defence, exercise, and assertion of legal claims.

  • The following personal data is processed for sending additional travel or leisure information in the course of the contractual relationship as an additional service and for sending newsletters via our website: Master data.

  • Storage period: The data is stored until the end of the contractual relationship, unless longer contractual or legal retention periods exist.

  • Recipients/categories of recipients: Alpes Vaudoises and other service providers

4 - Data subject rights

4.1 - You have the following rights regarding personal data relating to you:

The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place and frequency of website visits including IP address, is transmitted to Google, and stored there.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymisation function on our website. In this case, the user's IP address is already shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thereby anonymised. Google will not, according to its own information, associate the user's IP address with any other data held by Google.
