Experiences to enjoy

Whilst we were looking for a fun family activity to do at Col des Mosses, we decided on an Ancient Egypt-themed treasure hunt. To kick off this adventure, we headed to the Tourist Office to collect everything we’d need to take part in this life-size mystery game.
Our adventure begins at the Tourist Office, where we are given our adventure scroll and a mysterious red filter. According to the instructions, this strange accessory will enable us to communicate with an Egyptian goddess. That immediately piques our curiosity!
We have a choice of two routes: the first is the easiest and follows the Vita trail, whilst the second winds its way up to Lake Lioson. The latter, available from mid-June, is the perfect activity to accompany our climb!
This time, we opt for the shorter version: off to the Vita trail!
A terrible tragedy has struck the royal palace. The Egyptian princess Hajétrodsou is in tears: her beloved cat Félinix has been catnapped!
AA mystery in the age of the pyramids
It’s up to us to identify the culprit from the list of suspects, with the help of Bastet, the cat goddess. If we succeed in our mission, a reward awaits us at the end of the adventure!
We quickly and easily learn how to use our red filter to communicate with the goddess Bastet. Our first suspect is ruled out: the investigation is underway! After a short climb from the village, we reach the Vita trail forest. It offers a very pleasant shaded area.

We make sure to take the path on the left, so as to follow the Vita trail. The woodchip path and the surrounding forest create a cool, sheltered haven that’s perfect for reflection. Thanks to the map on our scroll, we easily find the various stations hidden near the fitness equipment, which we also enjoy trying out as we go.
Between the puzzles to solve, the clues scattered about and a bit of a climb, the list of suspects gradually narrows. Finally, we unmask the culprit: Félinix is saved!
After this lovely 40-minute loop, it’s time to return to the present day and head back down to the plateau. We pop into the Tourist Office to have our answer checked. And, as promised, we receive our reward!
This treasure hunt appeals with its mix of walking, thinking and discovery. An ideal activity for families, which we’ll be doing again in mid-June, on the route leading to Lake Lioson.
