From Villars, take the cog railway to Bretaye.
From Bretaye station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Lac-Noir - Chaux-Ronde chairlift. Once at the top, take in the superb panorama before heading back down towards Conche and then Lac des Chavonnes.
