Good news for paragliding and hang-gliding enthusiasts: Villars now boasts a brand-new take-off site at Roc d’Orsay – Les Myrtilles! An ideal spot to make the most of the thermals and enjoy multiple flights throughout the day.
Located at nearly 2,000 metres above sea level, the Les Myrtilles site is accessible year-round via the Roc d’Orsay gondola. In just a few minutes from the centre of Villars, you’ll reach the summit and enjoy breathtaking views of the Dents du Midi, the Grand Muveran and the Mont Blanc massif before spreading your wing.

This site offers an ideal layout for consecutive flights: pilots can land just above the lower gondola station, pack their wing, and head straight back up for another take-off. A great opportunity to complete multiple loops in a single day, whether for training, enjoyment, or simply taking in the views.
