Nestled at the foot of the mountains, the Bains de Lavey have just reopened after an extensive renovation — and the charm works from the very first steps. The peaceful, discreet welcome sets the tone for a calm, suspended moment. A few simple gestures are all it takes: a magnetic bracelet on your wrist, and you’re already slipping into a world of soft steam and subdued lights.

Reinvented wellness areas

The spring — the hottest in Switzerland — feeds three generous pools, including a vast outdoor basin overlooking the sky and the wooded cliffs of the Vaud Alps. The water, naturally at 33–36°C, invites relaxation: massage jets, bubble beds, waterfalls and counter-current paths wrap the body in warmth and softness. The contrast with the alpine air is a simple luxury: you sink into the hot water, eyes lifted toward the mountains, and time seems to slow down.

Transformed spaces for a renewed experience

Inside, we discover the thoughtfully redesigned wellness areas. Fragrant hammams, diverse saunas, cozy relaxation rooms, hanging chairs, and quiet corners offer a range of atmospheres — from warm cocoons to deep rejuvenation. For our part, we choose a gourmet break in one of the dining areas, gently postponing the return to reality.
